DMCA & Copyright Policy

OpenLinkd respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

If you believe content on OpenLinkd infringes your copyright, send a written notice including:

• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
• The URL or location of the allegedly infringing material on OpenLinkd.
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification with your contact information, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was erroneous, and consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal court.

OpenLinkd may terminate the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Knowingly misrepresenting that content is infringing — or that it was removed by mistake — may expose you to liability for damages under Section 512(f) of the DMCA.
